Made in Taiwan

Nathan and Oscar went on a trip to different Islands trying to track where their ancestors came from. First, they went to Mahia where they met up with Nathan's parents to open the envelope that has the results of where Nathan's ancestors came from. They found out that his father is a descendant of Maui, then thy found out that his mother's clan parents came from East Eurasia.
Next, they went to Rarotonga and visited the area of which Nathan's ancestors took off to New Zealand on the Takitimu waka. While in Rarotonga they visited a Cook Island family and talked to them about the similarities of Cook Island culture and the NZ Maori culture.
Then they went to Samoa. In Samoa, they went to stay with Oscar's family. Once they got there Oscar introduced Nathan to his family and showed him stuff around the house such as their own cemetery. The next day they went to church. After church they gathered together at Oscar's grandmother's house to open the envelope with the results of where Oscar's clan mother and clan father came from. They found out that his mother is from Eastern Asia and she is a descendant of Ina and his father comes from Southern Eurasia around the Himalayas.
Next, they visited Vanuatu where they met up with an archaeologist who taught them more about the Lapita Pottery. While looking at the pottery, they found that the pottery has the same patterns as the Tongan tapa and they also find that the patterns are similar to the ones on Oscar's tattoo. While in Vanuatu, Nathan got very sick and had to stay in bed for the day while Oscar went and visited a Vanuatuan family that taught him more about the Vanuatu Culture. The next day, they went with the archaeologist to visit an archaeology dig where they were shown bones and stuff like that.
Then, they went to Taiwan where they found that their languages are in fact similar which could lead to the fact that the polynesians did originate from Asia. Also, seeing as Oscar and Nathan are polynesians and their clan parents are from Asia or Eurasia could also lead to the fact that polynesians originated from Asia.

I do think their trip was successful because they found out and discovered a lot of things and evidence that adds to the fact that polynesians did in fact originate from Asia.

  1. Nicely summarised, evidence strongly suppport the theory that Polynesians migrated from Asia.
